The year is 1997. Due to exponential crime rates, the United States has turned its once great city of New York into a high security prison where inmates are locked away for life. A new prisoner and former war hero, Snake Plissken, is offered his freedom if he can rescue the President of the United States, from the prison island of Manhattan after a terrorist brings down the President's plane in this futuristic adventure.
