A gothic psychodrama about a family afflicted by radical personality change. John and his family visit the countryside to claim the shack John has inherited after his uncle’s supposed suicide. In a rural setting where nothing is what it seems, John’s behaviour becomes increasingly bizarre. Recalling Kubrick’s The Shining, the film is an eerie tale where nightmare and fantasy merge towards a devastating climax.
