Team America is an international police force dedicated to maintaining world stability (kind of like Thunderbirds, only this time, the strings are very visibly back). Word reaches the team that a maniacal dictator, Kim Jong II is arranging the sale of weapons of mass destruction (remember them?) to terrorists. It’s up to Team America to stop him.
The unlikely candidate they choose to help is Broadway star, Gary Johnston, currently in a production entitled Lease: The Musical. To help save the world, Gary will sacrifice his promising career by going undercover to infiltrate the arms dealer’s hideout.
