Chaja, a young and rebellious uni student growing up in 1970’s Antwerp accepts a job as a nanny in an orthodox Jewish household, but when her liberal attitude quickly conflicts with the strict rules and traditions of the family she is the put to blame after the youngest of the children, with whom she forms a special bond, tragically drowns. A beautifully emotive film of rare elegance and heart.
