In 1971 Tim Burstall made STORK and Australian movie goers took notice. In 1973 his next film ALVIN PURPLE became the biggest Australian made box-office hit ever taking in excess of $4 million dollars. A joint venture between Village Roadshow and Burstall, Hexagon went on to make some of the best remembered films of the 70s.
Now STORK, ALVIN PURPLE, its sequel ALVIN RIDES AGAIN, PETERSEN, ELIZA FRASER, END PLAY, HIGH ROLLING and THE LAST OF THE KNUCKLEMEN make their worldwide DVD debut in this full value entertainment collection dedicated to Tim Burstall, who passed away in April this year (2004) while working on this release.
