Considered by many to be terror maestro Dario Argento’s true masterpiece, "DEEP RED" (aka "PROFONDO ROSSO") stars David Hemmings ("Blow Up", "Gladiator") as an American jazz pianist who witnesses a brutal, bloody murder from afar. He teams up with a local Italian journalist (Daria Nicoladi) – and turns detective to find the killer…
…But it is not long before the hunters become the hunted.
"DEEP RED" showcases Argento's famed cinematic style: gliding camera, razor-sharp editing, and gorgeous but gruesome set pieces.
Previously released in Australia with 12 minutes cut, "DEEP RED" is now presented here for the first time UNCUT UNCENSORED and in WIDESCREEN.
This DVD also includes the 60 minute documentary "An Eye For Horror" which documents Argento's career and features interviews with Dario Argento, John Carpenter, Alice Cooper and actresses Jessica Harper and Piper Laurie.
