On a remote island a young scientist wades into the breakers and slaps the water. Within seconds a fin comes slicing through the foam and the huge, streamlined bulk of a Killer Whale comes to rest in the shadows a few metres away. The man and the whale stare at each other, both curious to know more. This is a study of the world's largest mammals, the killer whales, the most cunning and intelligent hunter of the sea.
Narrated by David Attenborough.
