In the aftermath of a comet passing through the Earth's atmosphere, machines come to demonic life and turn deadly, bringing about a global crisis.
A motley crew of customers and employees find themselves trapped in an isolated North Carolina interstate truck stop when the trucks hold them hostage. They are forced to devise a desperate plan to save themselves under the leadership of Emilio Estevez's petty thief. the dialog cracles with King's unmistakable brand of dark humour and AC/DC's score is electrifying.
