Screenwriter and director Quentin Tarantino has made the violent action genre his movie specialty. After his sensational debut with the original, blistering "Reservoir Dogs" in 1992, the former Los Angeles video store employee delivered an action packed screenplay, True Romance, for director Tony Scott. One year later in 1994 Tarantino found himself the flavour of the month with the scintillating star packed Pulp Fiction.
This highly original work went on to win the award for Best Picture at the 1994 Cannes Film Festival and the 1994 Academy Award for Original Screenplay. On the way it also revived the career of Supporting Actor nominee, John Travolta. In 1998 Quentin Tarantino was back in the action spotlight with his adaptation of Elmore Leonard's comic con caper, and to date his most recent film, Jackie Brown.
For all the Quentin Tarantino fans and lovers of his graphic violent and lethal action thrillers here are, in one mighty DVD collection, True Romance, Pulp Fiction, including the scenes that were removed from the original release print, and Jackie Brown. The very best to date from the man who in the 1990s managed to turn Hollywood on its ear - Quentin Tarantino.
