Disney's Lone Ranger faces more budget issues
Heat Vision reports that Disney's The Lone Ranger is facing budget issues again. Production on the film was shut down a year ago until the budget was reigned in from US$250 million to US$215 million. Now the budget has reportedly surpassed the original total, with rewrites underway & director Gore Verbinski being asked to cut scenes.
Lowe goes Behind the Candelabra

Theron plans a Murder Mystery
Snow White and the Huntsman star Charlize Theron is in talks to star in director John Madden's new comedy Murder Mystery, the Press Association reports. Described as an affectionate deconstruction of an Agatha Christie-style thriller, the story features an American couple on their honeymoon who become implicated in a murder they witness.
Weeds cut after 8 seasons
Showtime has confirmed that its comedy series Weeds will end after the upcoming 8th season. The final 13 episodes of the series, which begin airing in the US July 1, will include the 100th episode.
