AMC renews Comic Book Men
AMC has announced that it has renewed its unscripted series Comic Book Men for a second season. The series will continue to delve into fanboy culture by following the antics in & around Kevin Smith’s New Jersey comic shop, Jay and Silent Bob’s Secret Stash, with 16 new episodes.
Diaz to join The Counselor
Deadline reports that Cameron Diaz is in final negotiations to join Michael Fassbender, Brad Pitt, Javier Bardem, & Penelope Cruz in director Ridley Scott's new drama The Counselor.

Stallone's Bullet to fire in 2013
Director Walter Hill's Bullet to the Head, starring Sylvester Stallone & Jason Momoa, has been given a new US release date of February 1, 2013 by Warner Bros. Based on the French graphic novel, the film was pulled from its originally planned April 2012 release date as it wasn't yet ready in post-production.

Disney CEO Bob Iger has announced that a sequel to Marvel's record-breaking smash hit Avengers is in development. The superhero ensemble movie has taken in over US$650 million worldwide in just 12 days.
Wadlow set to Kick-Ass with sequel
Universal Pictures is in talks to make the sequel to Matthew Vaughn's 2000 actioner Kick-Ass, Deadline reports. Cry Wolf helmer Jeff Wadlow is set to direct from his own script. Original castmembers Aaron Johnson, Chloe Moretz, & Christopher Mintz-Plasse are all expected to return.
Patton heads for Baggage Claim
Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol star Paula Patton has been set as the lead in Fox Searchlight's romantic comedy Baggage Claim, Deadline reports. David Talbert has adapted the film from his own bestselling 2003 novel & will also direct.
Slade takes on Villain
Twilight Saga: Eclipse director David Slade is set to helm the new psychological thriller Villain by Robocop remake writer Josh Zetumer, Deadline reports. The story follows two brothers as they confront their dark past in an unforgiving wilderness.
