Lautner jumps on Tracers
Twilight Saga co-star Taylor Lautner is set to star in the new action thriller Tracers, Deadline reports. Directed by Daniel Benmayor, the story centers on Cam, a New York bike messenger in debt to a crime gang who gets introduced into the world of parkour by a sexy stranger.
30 Rock to end after 7 seasons
As widely speculated, NBC Entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt has confirmed that the newly announced 13-episode 7th season of 30 Rock will be the show's last with an hour-long final episode.
Parker, Hudson set for Glee
Fox Entertainment has announced that Sarah Jessica Parker & Kate Hudson are set to appear in multi-episode arcs of Glee's fourth season. No details on their characters or story lines have been announced as yet.
Reubens talks Pee-wee Herman return
Actor Paul Reubens has told Coming Soon that the previously announced third film featuring his Pee-wee Herman character is set to begin filming "very soon." Reubens co-wrote the script with actor/writer Paul Rust while Judd Apatow is producing.
Avengers continues to Assemble records
Marvel's The Avengers continues its record-setting domination of theatres around the world, with a US$103.2 million second weekend breaking the US$100m mark for the first time in movie history & beating the previous record of US$75m set by Avatar. The film has earned over US$1 billion globally since release.

Nashville, The Neighbors, Family Tools, Red Widow, Zero Hour, 666 Park Ave, How to Live With Your Parents for the Rest of Your Life, Last Resort, & Malibu Country have all been picked up at ABC. CBS has picked up Elementary, Friend Me, Partners, Golden Boy, Made in Jersey, & Vegas. NBC has picked up Go On & Guys With Kids as well as previously announced Chicago Fire, Save Me, The New Normal, Animal Practice, 1600 Penn, & Revolution. Fox has picked up The Following, The Mob Doctor, It's Messy, Ben & Kate, & The Goodwin Games.
CW renewals & cancellations
The CW network has renewed Gossip Girl for a final season as well as renewing Nikita & Hart of Dixie as well as previously announced 90210, Supernatural, & Vampire Diaries. Ringer & The Secret Circle have both been cancelled.
CBS renewals & cancellations
CBS has renewed CSI, CSI: NY, 2 Broke Girls, Blue Bloods, Criminal Minds, Hawaii Five-0, How I Met Your Mother, The Good Wife, The Mentalist, Mike & Molly, NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, Person of Interest as well as previously announced Two and a Half Men & The Big Bang Theory.
