Warner announces more superhero movies
Warner Bros.' has announced its upcoming slate of at least 10 DC superhero films. After the forthcoming Batman/Superman movie in 2016 will be the villain-centric Suicide Squad, then before Justice League Part One in 2017 will be a Wonder Woman movie starring Gal Gadot. 2018 will see a Flash movie starring Royal Pains' Ezra Miller as well as an Aquaman movie starring Jason Momoa, then in 2019 the Shazam movie co-starring Dwayne Johnson as Black Adam as well as Justice League Part Two. In 2020 there will be a Cyborg movie with Ray Fisher reprising his Justice League movie role as well as a Green Lantern reboot. There will also reportedly be new standalone Batman and Superman films that are yet to be scheduled.
Iron Man flies in to Captain America 3
Variety is reporting that Robert Downey Jr is in final negotiations to join the cast of Captain America 3, with his Iron Man character set to play a key role in bringing Marvel's popular Civil War storyline to the big screen. Said storyline saw Captain America and Iron Man on opposing sides of a Superhero Registration Act. The story also featured Spider-Man, which lends more weight to the recent rumours of Marvel and Sony negotiating for the character to appear in an Avengers movie. Gotham gets full season order
Fox has given a full season order to its fledgeling crime drama series Gotham after the show's premiere episode set a new Live+7 DVR ratings record in the US, Deadline reports. The pre-Batman series saw a boost in US viewers from 8.3 million to 14.1 to beat Marvel's Agents of SHIELD's previous record.Email Me! - When Available!
