Battlestar Galatica is the story of a civilisation named Kobal, destroyed by humanity’s deadliest enemies – the Cylons. All that is left is a ragtag fleet of battleships holding a group of human survivors and it is Commander William Adama, (the highest-ranking military officer left alive) who leads the main ship, the Battlestar Galactica.

In series two, fans see the story develop even further. After a succession of devastating attacks by the Cylons (series one), the surviving colonies are forced to flee, in search of a mythical 13th Colony of Kobol ... a legendary planet known as Earth. The DVD includes episodes that follow the Battlestar Galactica’s adventures, as they try to avoid the Cylons and attempt to locate Earth.
