Description
Edward Scissorhands:
High above the town in a lonely, gothic mansion, lived a man called Edward Scissorhands. His hands were cold but his heart was warm. You see Edward Scissorhands wasn't a real man – he was a creation. And his life forever changed the town where he lived.
Mermaids:
Mrs Flax (Cher) is a free-spirited, independent woman with two children, Charlotte (Winona Ryder) and Kate (Christina Ricci). The things is, Mrs Flax doesn't like sticking around a place when one of her relationships fail, and so the family have been moving around the country all of their lives. When they arrive in East Port Mrs Flax finds herself falling for the local shoe shop owner (Bob Hoskins). Only this time it is not only Mrs Flax who has fallen in love, but also her daughter Charlotte.
The Crucible:
Based on one of the greatest plays of the twentieth century, Arthur Miller's The Crucible takes place in Salem Massachusettes in 1692. In the small puritan town, where people lives are dedicated to serving God, seven girls are discovered in the woods and are accused of engaging in "The Devil's" work. As time goes by the village becomes consumed by cries of witchcraft. One by one, the blameless victims of this mass hysteria are torn from their homes and families.
