Under The Radar

Brandon (Nathan Phillips) is a guy who loves to be waterlogged. He’s a surf nut who lives to ride the waves, but right now he’s a fish out of water because the magistrates’ court has placed him on a good behaviour bond that’s forcing him to dry out following an angry outburst. Just as a major surfing competition is coming up, poor old Brandon has been beached!

Part of Brandon’s punishment involves helping out at a home for the intellectually disabled. It’s a sentence that lands him in deep water – but not the kind he likes.

One of the patients, Trevor (Steady Eddy) is keen on breaking out to party…and then there’s Adrian (Clayton Watson) who suffers from recurring amnesia. In Brandon, both patients see a way out of the home – and Brandon sees a way to the surf in time to make it for the competition.

When the guys get their way and are soon beach bound, a sexy new member is added to the party. She’s the mysterious Jo (Chloe Maxwell) who makes their road trip an even bigger pleasure. But when a few undesirable elements also come into the picture – including mobsters who are out to kill them, a rival gang and an increasing body count – getting to the beach becomes a genuine matter of life and death!
