This classic crime-noir thriller stars Cash (in his film debut) as a violent, guitar playing ex-con who holds the wife of a bank vice-president for ransom. Simmering sexual tensions soon develop as a demented Cash forces the wife to dress in a negligee while he sings the song “Five Minutes to Live” (written by Cash).
