Snow Walker, The

In the grand tradition of epic adventure, The Snow Walker tells the compelling story of two people struggling for survival against the harsh elements of the Canadian Arctic. Charlie Halliday, a maverick bush pilot, is on a routine job in the Arctic wilderness when he encounters a small band of Inuit fisherman. With them is a sick young woman, Kannaalaq, whom they want Charlie to fly to hospital. When the plane crashes in a glacial lake in the vast outreaches of this desolate, yet beautiful land, Charlie realises they are stranded hundreds of miles from civilization. With the radio broken and only a handful of supplies, they are at the mercy of the harsh elements.
