Description
The last movie to be made by Handmade Films (in its original form), Nuns on the Run is a classic Carry On-style comedy with a few Monty Python moments for those easily tickled by the sight of grown men in nuns’ uniforms. Written and directed by Jonathan Lynn - one half of the team behind the scorching wit of Yes, Minister - this hilarious slice of slapstick stars Eric Idle (Life of Brian) and Robbie Coltrane (Craker, Harry Potter, Mona Lisa) as Brian and Charlie, two gangsters who try to quit the profession but are forced to avoid their mobster boss, triads, police, Brian's girlfriend and certain death by dressing as nuns.
