Description
2006 was the deadliest season on Everest in a decade. Experienced mountaineer, Lincoln Hall is invited to join an expedition as high altitude cameraman. It is his second attempt on the mountain, having turned back just short of the summit 22 years earlier.
Shortly after reaching the summit, he begins to behave irrationally, suffering from lack of oxygen. Aided by his loyal Sherpas for over nine hours, he eventually collapses and they declare him dead. Incredibly, the next morning he is found alive by approaching climbers who radio for help.
Never before has a man been declared dead so high on Everest and lived to tell the tale.
