Description
Boris is a little bear and Barbara is his girlfriend. They are just a little bit older than Miffy. Bruna's inspiration for the two characters came while on holiday in the beautiful forests of the South of France. Boris and Barbara made their first appearance in Miffy books in 1989. Boris is a bit mischievous and a scatterbrain. Barbara on the other hand is steady and firm. Boris and Barbara are a little bit in love with each other.
Dick Bruna is one of the most famous creators of picture books in the world. He has written and illustrated more than 100 books. Since the publication of his first book "The Apple" in 1953 his work has been translated into more than 40 languages, 80 million books have been sold worldwide and his work has been awarded with numerous prizes.
