Description
The crew from South Beach are back in the groove for more unbelievable body art in Miami Ink. Four master tattoo artists – Ami James, Chris Nuñez, Darren Brass and Chris Garver – follow their lifelong dream of opening a custom tattoo shop in Miami, Florida. Along with their loyal apprentice, Yoji Harada, and the talented Kat Von D, the artists and customers of Miami Ink share the personal stories of their lives and the tales behind the tattoos.
Episodes:
More Money, More Problems:
Less than a year after opening, Miami Ink has become the hottest tattoo shop on South Beach. For the first time in their lives Ami and Garver have money in their pockets. But sometimes more money brings more problems.
Step Up or Step Out:
With Yoji still struggling with his drawing skills, Ami threatens him with an ultimatum - if he doesn't improve, Yoji will have to quit his apprenticeship. Garver steps in and gives him some lessons, and a very helpful piece of advice.
Weathering the Storm:
With the Florida hurricane season upon them, Ami and the crew realise that the shop they have worked so hard to build up could be wiped out in mere seconds in the face of an approaching storm.
Party All The Time:
Nuñez's partying starts to affect his work, along with the shop's reputation. Ami spends time with his mother, who is visiting from Israel.
Kat’s Return, Ami’s Ride:
Kat returns to the shop from Los Angeles for a surprise visit. Meanwhile Ami must confront his fears over a past accident and find the courage to ride a motorcycle again.
The Ink That Binds:
Ami’s friend Flip returns to the shop to have a tribute to his great grandmother etched onto his arm – a lasting reminder of his close family values. Garver draws a heartfelt design for a woman who has struggled for years to overcome an eating disorder.
While Ami’s Away:
With Ami away in Hawaii, Kat stays on at the shop to lend a hand. A moving tattoo design for a cancer survivor is on the agenda, as is a special creation for custom motorcycle builder Billy Lane.
Rock 'N' Roll All Night:
Yoji breaks out his electric guitar – a relic from his punk rock days – to entertain the crew in the shop. Paul, a South Beach musician, enlists Garver to create a guardian angel design to watch over him.
Goodbye Freedom:
Darren’s wife moves down to Florida from Connecticut, sparking Ami to lament that Darren’s partying days are over. Harold Hunter, a New York skating legend, enlists his old friend Garver to design a moving tribute to the World Trade Centre disaster.
Made In Japan:
Ami creates a Rosary tattoo for a girl as a lasting memory of her lost grandfather. Darren helps a musician remember to live life to the fullest, while Garver works on a classic skull design.
