Likely Lads, The (1976)

Returning to their TV roles after an absence of several years, Rodney Bewes (Bob), who is happily married to Thelma (Brigit Forsyth) in the series, and James Bolam (Terry) play a pair of funny Northern Englishmen. When Terry meets gorgeous Finnish model Christina, Thelma - ever aware of Terry's bad influence on her husband - arranges for the four to go away on a caravanning weekend together in the hope of seeing Terry settled down for good... Proving once again that even the best laid plans fall along the way side, this hilarious big-screen adaptation is written by the show's creators Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais (The Commitments, Goal!, Porridge).
