Description
An American woman's courageous struggle to carve out a new life for herself and her family amid the harsh Australian outback. Made in 1986 by the producer of Picnic at Hanging Rock, this classic mini-series stars Linda Evans (then a massive star on Dynasty) as an American divorcee who marries an Australian cattleman (Tony Bonner) before he dies in a plane crash, leaving a widow and her two teenage children stranded on a drought and debt-ridden ranch. Caught in a feud between a covetous land baron (Jason Robards) and his idealistic son (Jack Thompson), Evans refuses to take sides...until she falls in love with the son.
