JDM Option International - Vol. 42: Smoke King Championship

The main attraction of JDM Option International Vol 42 is the Death-defying Figure 8 Race!

Option gathered their 8 bravest Japanese drivers at Ebisu Ace Speedway with instructions to drive full-bore around a small figure-8 track without hitting each other at the crossover point. GoGo Daijiro was the only one who had done it before and he warned them of the danger. That didnt stop them…

The other main feature is the Smoke King Championship US tour. Nothing to do with tobacco sponsorship, the Smoke King Championship is a sort-of drifters burnout event. Ken Nomura is the current champ and with Ueno, Hibino and Kazama at his side they take on Vaughn Gittin Jr, Darren McNamara, Quoc Ly and Ryan Hampton representing the US.

And finally Daijiro debuts his new creation, the Stream Z GT Jr. With no reasonably-priced fast RWD cars being produced now he created his own custom car from a 180SX. With styling by Top Secret and engine tuned by Yashio Factory, its a unique creation built mainly for the D1 USA Drivers Search.
