Description
This is the story of a Royal Navy destroyer - based on Lord Louis Mountbattens sailing career duringthe war - which is dive-bombed in the battle of Crete. As survivors cling to the life rafts, the story of the ship and its crew unfolds from the perspective of the Captain (Noel Coward), Petty Officer (Bernard Miles) and an ordinary seaman, Shorty (John Mills).
