Description
Jeff Talley (Willis) is an LAPD hostage negotiator who is shattered when a situation he is trying to deal with goes tragically wrong. Talley resigns from his job and moves away from LA and his wife and daughter, taking a low-profile job as chief of police in a small town.
After following a family home with the intention of robbing them, two brothers and a mysterious third man find themselves trapped in a multi-million dollar compound on the outskirts of the town. Panicked, they retaliate by taking the family hostage.
Suddenly, Talley is faced with exactly the kind of situation he has tried to escape, and when the owner of the home (Kevin Pollak) turns out to have criminal connections, Talley’s involvement becomes unexpectedly personal. But something else he discovers about one of the people inside the home makes this a hostage situation that is far more terrifying and unpredictable than he could have ever imagined.
