Description
Red Dragon:
Adapted from Thomas Harris' first Hannibal Lecter novel, Red Dragon is the second big screen version of the book, following on from Michael Mann's Manhunter. FBI profiler Will Graham (Edward Norton) is ushered out of retirement by boss Jack Crawford (Harvey Keitel) to help catch serial killer The Tooth Fairy (Ralph Fiennes), who targets families each lunar cycle. Graham has an uncanny ability to project himself into the minds of his criminal prey, and decides to consult former mentor Dr. Lecter (Anthony Hopkins) on the Tooth Fairy case...
The Silence of tthe Lambs:
A psychopath nicknamed Buffalo Bill is murdering women across the Midwest. Believing it takes one to know one, the FBI sends Agent Clarice Starling (Foster) to interview a demented prisoner who may provide clues to the killer’s actions. That prisoner is psychiatrist Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Hopkins), a brilliant, diabolical cannibal who agrees to help Starling only if she’ll feed his morbid curiosity with details of her own complicated life. As their relationship develops, Starling is forced to confront not only her own hidden demons, but also an evil so powerful that she may not have the courage – or strength – to stop it!
Hannibal:
After having successfully eluded the authorities for years, Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Anthony Hopkins) peacefully lives in Italy in disguise as an art scholar. Trouble strikes again when he is discovered leaving yet another body in his wake. He returns back to his homeland of America to once again make contact with now disgraced Agent Clarice Starling (Julianne Moore) who is suffering the wrath of a malicious FBI official/rival, Paul Krendler (Ray Liotta) as well as the media. Meanwhile, Hannibal must survive the advances by a disfigured and vengeful victim he first came in contact with years ago as a patient, Mason verger (Gary Oldman). He also finds himself being tracked down by the authorities as well as vengeful relations of his previous victims.
