Description

Still, someone has to fight crime on the home front and who better than Christopher Foyle? Michael Kitchen stars as the charismatic detective in this drama series of mysteries. The queitly enigmatic Foyle would much rather serve his country in the armed forces, but his superiors deem him indispensible for combating the heightened anarchy along England's south coast, where the German army is expected any day. Uncertainty, espoinage, bombs and internment are the new facts of life for Foyle and those around him- yet sometimes they merge with an old enemy of England- murder!
