Description
A bona fide sci-fi cult classic from the early 70s, Dark Star is John Carpenter’s send-up of Stanley Kubrik’s 2001: A Space Odyssey, and follows four jaded astronauts on a mission to clear unstable planets from outer galaxies. But years from Earth, things start to go wrong as a beachball-like alien turns up, one member decides to ‘surf’ back to Earth, and the toilet paper runs out!
