Description
Man Called Horse:
A man called "Horse" becomes an Indian warrior in the most electrifying ritual ever seen! Richard Harris gives an outstanding performance in the extraordinary story of a man captured by Sioux Indians and subjected to mental and physical tortures to prove his manhood in their savage culture.
Man Who Shot Liberty Valance:
Senator Ranse Stoddard returns to the city Shinbone in the Wild West to go to the funeral of his friend, Tom Doniphon. To a journalist, who's wondering what the senator is doing in Shinbone, he tells how his career started as "the man who shot Liberty Valance". As a lawyer he went to Shinbone, where he met his wife Hallie and Tom Doniphon. He taught the people there to read and write. Then he met the greatest bandit of the region, Liberty Valance....
Shane:
Actor George Stevens' legendary rendition of the archetypal Western myth earned six Academy Award nominations, and made Shane one of the timeless classics of American cinema. Based on Jack Schaefer's novel, the story brings Alan Ladd, a drifter and retired gunfighter, to the assistance of a homestead family terrorised by an ageing cattleman and his hired gun. In fighting a last, decisive battle, Shane sees the end of his own way of life. Mysterious, moody and atmospheric, the film is enhanced by the intense performances of its splendid cast and stunning location photography.
